Our Fire/Life Safety Apprenticeship Program is a structured program designed to prepare individuals for a career in fire protection.

The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on training and work experience, allowing apprentices to develop the knowledge and skills needed to become fire/life safety professionals.
Key aspects of the apprenticeship program:

Curriculum: Receive classroom instruction in various aspects of fire protection training, including fire alarm, fire sprinkler, specialized extinguishing systems, fire pumps, and more.

Hands-on Training: Experience in real-world situations. Learn how to operate fire/life safety testing equipment and manage various testing scenarios.

Mentorship: Paired with mentors, experienced fire/life safety professionals, who provide guidance, share their expertise, and help apprentices learn the ropes.

Certification: Aligns with the requirements of relevant certifications or licenses: Chief Regulation #4, Automatic Extinguishing System License, NICET Certification, Inspection/Testing/Maintenance Certification and more. These credentials are often required for employment in the field.

Compensation: In many cases, apprentices are paid for their work during the program.

Job Opportunities: Upon completing the apprenticeship program and obtaining the necessary certifications or licenses, graduates can pursue various career paths in fire protection, such as becoming fire/life safety system tester, property manager, building engineer, fire inspector, or firefighter.
